We had a great January hike. The sunny skies really helped in keeping the body warm, even though the wind would occasionally chill the bones. Temps were above freezing which helped, too. Bill thought it was good enough weather, so he rode his motorcycle to the trailhead.
Twelve showed up for the hike in the Ozarks. We started on the west trail and set our sites for Spy Rock. Once there, we had an early lunch before heading back on the east trail. We managed 8+ miles and had an awesome day outdoors.
Next week we go to visit the Sphinx, look for Pam at her falls, and check out Haw Creek Falls. Let’s hope the weather cooperates!
