Thirty-one TrailBlazers headed to Hawksbill Crag on a beautiful morning.  We took the Pig Trail and as we got into the mountains began to see glimpses of snow in the distance.  We turned onto Cave Mountain Road and were treated to a snowy landscape all the way to the trailhead.

However, the trail was clear and there were only patches of snow in the forest.  There was a nice flow at the bluff line waterfall.   We hung out at the Crag where everyone enjoyed the view and took pictures.  We met lots of people along the trail as we headed back to the cars.  There, a snowball fight erupted prior to our departure.

There were lots of people at Lost Valley enjoying the beautiful afternoon.  We ate lunch in the pavilion before heading down the trail.  A strong flow of water was coming through the tunnel where several picked their way through to the other side. Eden Falls had a good flow and was very pretty.  About 6 or 7 of our group went into the cave at the top to view the waterfall inside.

A short distance down the road from Lost Valley, there was a large herd of Elk grazing.  Some of our group missed the turn on the way to Lost Valley and saw the herd before turning around.  Others went afterwards.  I think most people would give today a thumbs up!!
