Ten hikers optimistically made the drive to Mt Magazine to hike Bear Hollow and Benefield Trail.

The weather service promised cooling temperatures and strong winds with a chance of sunshine. We were socked in with fog to begin with but were rewarded with rare running water in the hollows.  Everyone was happy to see the sunshine when it finally appeared.  Nevertheless, the cool temps and strong winds did not keep us from having lunch at Sunset Point.  The views were terrific and hikers friendly and happy.  Good Hike!
