It was a lovely fall morning to travel Hwy 22 to Mt. Nebo State Park.
Ten TrailBlazers hiked the 3.6 mile rim trail that circles the mountain. We started from the visitors' center following the trail clockwise. The east side of the mountain is very rocky and steep so it required paying attention to where you place your feet. But, we all made it without any mishaps. There are views of Lake Dardanelle and mountains in the distance. On a clear day, you can almost see Little Rock! We found a nice spot with plenty of big rocks for sitting on and eating lunch before heading home. Thanks Linda, for safely leading us.
