TrailBlazers hiked at Lake Alma Saturday, May 6th. The trail is listed as 3.8 miles long but our pedometers were showing more distance.

Lake Alma is a gem and is a short drive from Fort Smith. We hiked across the dam before entering the woods. There were several types of wild flowers blooming along the path. After an hour or so of hiking we came to the creek which required a tricky crossing on rocks and logs in the water.  Thankfully, we all made it across without getting wet. This was the last hike this season.  TrailBlazers will resume hiking September 30, 2023.  Look forward to seeing you then.
